Building Additions Ltd have achieved on the 9th September the BS OHSAS 18001 accreditation to go alongside ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
OHSAS 18001 can be aligned with existing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems. Historically many organisations start with a quality management system (ISO 9001) and then add the environment management requirements from ISO 14001. They then look at their health and safety risks and add OHSAS 18001.
Building Additions was recently approached by BAM Construction to help them with the installation of an operable wall system within Robert Blake Science College in Bridgwater, Somerset.
Their brief to us was to design and supply a series of moving wall partitions that would allow the college to make maximum use of their available space whilst also giving complete flexibility.
One of the options when having an operable wall system designed and installed is whether you should have them set up for electric or manual operation.
To help you make the right choice we have looked individually at a number of different considerations you need to think about. We hope they help.
