Self Supporting Partition

There has historically been problems with the installation of folding partitions when there is not sufficient head support and traditionally a floor track was utilised. This led to two issues, firstly having a 100mm wide aluminium track across the floor is not aesthetically pleasing and secondly unless the floor was perfectly level the track would cause a trip hazard and long term problems with the operation could occur. As part of our on going development program, Building Additions have designed a new bracket and fixing method meaning that we can now supply our fabric partitions, up to a maximum 4000mm wide, as a completely self supporting unit.

Managing Director Andy Ferris, who oversees all the company Research and Development, was very excited about the product

"There will no longer be a need for unsightly and cumbersome floor track systems on screens where there is no possible way of supporting using traditional methods. This is a major innovation which we believe to be unique within the folding partition industry."
